Larry,

I guess it's now as obvious as the Minnesota gubernatorial race. As I am typing Jesse "The Body" Ventura is leading. He has 37% compared to the Republican Norm Coleman (34%) and the Democrat Skip Humphrey (28%). Forty per cent of the votes are counted.

Before I did some research, it seemed like the BOD might be reacting to a concern that somebody would be wanting to pick up Ancor stock on the open market at its current beat up stock price. I think this is easy to do, as a consortium and through the use of affiliates so nobody knows the buyer. After the research including looking at Cisco's SEC document, it seems like a common device to address shareholder value. It has the added effect of not adding authorized, but unissued shares as per the previous action this year.
