Carl,

Now is NOT the time to be shorting or adding shorts. Notice AND, CCSI and DCTI are all up between 20 and 25% today. Other great shorts (for another day) like WEBB, SWRX, HEB, POSS, and SRCM are also substantially higher. The theory is that there is too much liquidity chasing too few stocks, such that even the garbage is floating up with the rising tide.

My short portfolio has rising 30%+ and is sucking up all my margin. I am going to hang tough and selectively cover the profitable ones, and let the out-of-the-money ones ride. One thign teh last year and a half has taught me is to have patience. Remember BAANF? I shorted too early and watch it double and then split. I covered over the past two years with a total lost of 25K. But, look at where BAANF is now. If I had the intestinal fortitude and capital to hang on, I would now be up roughly 20K. quote.yahoo.com
