Nancy & Shalom,

"Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked:
For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out."
Proverbs 24:19-20

I remember God's promise to Abraham of, "I will bless them that bless thee and curse them that curse thee" which has not been rescinded.
Haman and whoever would have carried out his instructions were instantly under God's righteous judgment because of the plotting against the Jews. I see Esther more as the tool of the Lord for His purpose.
God's providence for and rebuking of the Jews is seen numerous times.
This is another occasion of God's intervention, however harsh it may appear, to preserve them.
I'm trying to remember or find out who it was that was asked, "Prove that God exists."
He replied, "The Jew of course. They are a people that should not be."
Referring to how often Satan has made his best efforts to destroy them. God will always intervene.

In Christ,
John
