Of course I am a naysayer...but of course I am not allowed to tell of my virtual trip through historical Germany...nor how it was handled........at least not on the SI forum...as SI has mandated a censorship lockout...and yes Bob..your attorney did say I could say ON YOUR FORUM that SI mandated a censorship lockout

I do not have a clue as to what the reporter is talking about with the promotional material mentioned in the article

However, if he/she is talking about the "terms of use"...I certainly would love Bob to tell me how he can police SI and not be concerned with one member lying about another (which Bob told me recently)...since "libel" is part of the terms of use...but maybe he should ask Go2Net's in-house-counsel about how lies fit in with the concept of libel.

As far as technical matters are concerned...well..it seems quite a few problems have arisen from the move to Seattle...and I have seen quite a few complaints all across the threads...but technically it is no worse than other sites I have seen out there as far as ability to access.....It was down several hours one afternoon recently...but I do not see that as anything remarkable as this is a web forum.

The one thing the reporter definitely got wrong is the tongue-in-cheek aspect of my comment of Go2Net's share price..but then again..now that I think about it...it is a pretty common phenomenon...
and you are talking about a company whose true asset is its members.

The person should have talked to me before doing that report..but maybe he/she tried to as I am approached ALL THE TIME by reporters....It is disconcerting to see the way my thoughts were represented...(which is why I never talk to reporters to start with)...as my main complaint is with the POLICING of SI..not the technical or promotional aspect.
