Yousef & Intel Investors - EXCELLENT NEWS on Intel's Camino & KATMAI Intel has achieved First Silicon on the Camino Chip set - designed to be used with the Katmai processor, RAMBUS memory or DDR SDRAM, 4x AGP and FAST FSBs. The First Silicon Camino is now running within Intel. Test systems are up and running with 133 MHz Front Side Bus (FSB) driving the Katmai and Camino Chip sets and RAMBUS memory delivering 800 MegaBytes/sec. There may be a "small possibility" of a demonstration of such a system at the upcoming COMDEX show in Las Vegas. This is excellent progress for the Camino chip set which should be ready for introduction in mid to late Q2 1999 after some minor logic modifications are made. Paul
