<<Clinton has no options other than to pull the trigger on our cruise missles>>

I get the distinct impression that Clinton is walking away from our Gulf War victory while making a lot of blustery noises. News reports earlier today stated that he is now turning the Sadam matter over to the UN. In the UN Russia, China, France and a few others are adamantly against doing anything more to Saddam. In fact, Russia's new #1 after Yeltsin is an old friend of Saddam's. Not much chance the UN will do anything more than they usually do ... talk ... talk and talk. Any day now Saddam will be able to claim he is the ultimate victor in the Gulf War.

Galls me, but this administration has allowed our erstwhile Bush alliance to get tattered and frayed to the point that it no longer represents a unified threat to Saddam or even tiny Kosovo. Saudi has made it clear they do not want us to use their yard as a base against Saddam. Now there is probably not much Clinton can do unless we want to fight a war alone in the midst of the Moslem world ... a very bad idea! Maybe we can throw a few missiles in, but I doubt that will bother Saddam unless we got lucky and scored a direct hit on him.
