<It's David vs. Goliath, Padres vs. Yankees, Clay vs. Liston, Broncos vs. Packers, Slippery Rock vs. Notre Dame, Netscape vs. Microsoft, etc.> Tony, I was explaining this to my roommate tonight, who is Russian. This mentality of rooting for the underdog is part of American culture. From literature and songs on the American Revolution, to movies like Rocky and the Star Wars trilogy, America loves to see the underdog win. Tenchusatsu P.S. - I too like rooting for underdogs; after all, I'm a lifelong Washington Redskins fan.
