Right Marc... There's this sorry habit of valorizing academia. It's a business. If I expected something special from a bunch of _ucked up middle class college students and their little artificially intelligent mentors (like Minsky) on where to place to my bets on Wall Street.. Shit, I might as well start looking into Gerry's crystal ball. If you must rely on something, rely on your own brain powers of evaluation. Looking too much to others for validation is perhaps one more sign of an inveterate laziness and arrested development we might recognize and forgive within ourselves; to try to overcome till the day we crap out.
