All,

Well, Herbie's silence couldn't last long... and it didn't. In this morning's theStreet.com, he is mouthing the words given him by his professional-short-seller-puppet-masters. They are touting the ultimate demise of IOM based on all the Syquest product that will be dumped on the market, at fire sale prices, between now and Christmas.

I would expect another round of sharp, spiky short selling to try to beat down any stock price momentum being built up.

But I also think Wall St. will adopt a 'show me the money' attitude about the removable storage niche and conclude that 'IOM has the products, name recognition, a new revitalized management and importantly an established penetration franchise'. BWDIK ;-))

Ben A.
