Hi Mark:
once again I am totally confused..England appears to be headed for a recession..the US appears to be slowing down..all that I have read about Japan suggests their recovery is still two or three years away..the Germans are refusing to lower their rates..South American countries might be in recession..
lately I have been obsessed with the growing powers of the multinationals..seems that they will be major beneficiaries
The election here yesterday probably reflected that people vote on common sense and survival issues rather than on ethics..guess one needs survival first before one can follow principles?(that is really not fair of me though..maybe they were just voting for the person)
At this stage, looks like the G7 are more focussed on getting rid of leveraged hedge funds..can the stock markets create enough wealth for citizens playing them that that creation of wealth can keep the economies going?
What am I missing..this just seems so very unreal. So many consumers around the world are being hurt,ie what is happening now to average consumer in Brazil for instance.
Help..
