Maurice and all: Random musings: Given the Microsoft news, I dont think the qdog will ever show his teeth on this thread again. It is all his fault, without his constant warnings, the Q leaders reading this thread forgot how evil they are. Hey, maybe Bill used some of that cash to buy the qdog and make him his own personal attack dog - just thinking...

wrt the report: HUGE. Margins improving everywhere despite the end of world wide good times. If they do that good when everyone is in a pissy mood, just stand back and watch the Q go when 'things' are getting better. The report was so big in fact all the analysts were forced to be nonchalant, least they reveal that they were in the dark. That could be a bad thing actually. Analysts are used to having things spoon fed to them. They get upset. The way they look at it, they deserve - they have a right - they are better than other people - they should get insider info and know what the company is doing before anyone else. I say piss on them but then again I like to stir the pot every now and then.

Brazil: Entire factory devoted to home market! Huge.

India, did anyone catch the comment about India? Huge. I have said before I think India could be bigger than China. As it stands now, India has much more pent up demand. The Indians got farther down the technological road before the government restrained things. China will have a bigger eventual market, but if the reins were released equally today, India would spring out ahead.

wrt Tero: Perhaps you should pick a book of fiction to read and then debate that. He is sprinkled around the web with book reviews and with out nasty things like facts, the conversations can support themselves much more efficiently.

Here is to a good Q day. Perhaps now we can for once and all leave the 'natural home' and also stop the 'good news - price decline' feature we all know so well.
