Hi irby. I would like to invite you to respond to Scott Adams of Dow Jones; Message 6273524 I think your knowledge of US systems and your use of them would give him better insight as to the problems we are experiencing! Please take the time if you can....we all would appreciate it! We all appreciate the advantages of trading US stocks however our intention on this thread is to better our access to Canadian stock markets...with that, obviously, we will have better access to US markets as well. Trading US issues thru our system is worse than trading Canadian Issues. So the intention is to get our trading systems to a level that we can compete! I have not elliminated switching to US based systems, but like our resolve with Y2K issues Canada and Canadian Banks are lagging in "foresight, direction and vision"! Canadians are pretty "laid back people" hopefully this thread can start an insurrection against incompetence from our over paid banks!! I intend on ulcerating before I switch !!!! the Chief
