ERMANTOWN, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 4, 1998--ZMAX Corporation
(Nasdaq Small Cap: ZMAX) announced today that its wholly owned
subsidiary Century Services Incorporated ("CSI") has been awarded and
signed a contract with Westchester County Health Care Corporation
("Westchester") in the state of New York to provide Year 2000 (Y2K)
consulting and compliance services for all of Westchester's
operations, including medical devices, physical plant, facilities
equipment, and computer systems.
CSI will provide these services in partnership with Tava
Technologies, Inc., NASDAQ:TAVA ("Tava") and BioMed y2k, a division
of Colorado Medtech, Inc., NASDAQ:CMED ("BioMed").
Michael C. Higgins, President and CEO of ZMAX, remarked, "CSI

Westchester County Health Care Corporation is a public benefit
corporation that operates the Westchester Medical Center, which is
comprised of the following institutions throughout the state of New
York: University Hospital at Westchester, Taylor Care Center at
Westchester, Behavior Health Center at Westchester, Westchester
Institute for Human Development, Children's Hospital, Zalmen A. Arlin
Cancer Institute, George E. Reed Heart Center, Enrico Longo Burn
Center, Trauma Center, Transplant Center, Neuroscience Center, and
STAT Flight Medevac Program.
