For as long as this positive sentiment last, they would push
stocks higher. They can do that as long as real sellers don't emerge. Sellers won't emerge unless stock prices drop. It is a positive-feedback system.

See above. Also, charts are made not just due to buy/sell orders but more importantly due to how MMs decide to move the stocks. They can, do, have, and will move stocks higher on NEGATIVE money flow during a momentum-driven market. I call them chart-makers.

There was news that mutual funds took in ~6.5B in the month of Sept., a reversal from the negative flows in the month of Aug. This year the DOW is up 10.5%, NAZ up 14%, and SPX up 14.5%. With only two months left in the year, they are going to expect mutual funds to put money to work on every dip.

I fully agree that some stocks, especially large-caps and the net stocks, are ridiculously expensive. However, I am happy (and surprised) to see that the small caps are coming back.
