You make a good point, marc, and I agree that the current market environment is a major factor. But isn't that always true? And about the 'death of value investing' ---Hasn't investment always had fads of style? The pendulum swings --- we just have to be careful to avoid getting whacked by it. Disagree with you about 'Fundamentals', though. I think the Real 'Fundamental' is the answer to the question "How is this company going to do in the future?" and things like earnings etc are just measurement tools we use to try to figure that out. In some situations they work better than in other situations. We can look to the future from here and make a reasonable prediction that the Oil Sector companies will recover. That's the real 'Fundamental', imho. regards, diana
