Iomega in settop boxes:

Storage zips into set-top boxes
By Karen J. Bannan, ZDNet

Set-top box manufacturer WebSurfer Inc. this week announced a set-top box that will allow consumers to store e-mail and content downloaded from a cable broadband network, officials said.
The company's WebSurfer Pro Internet TV set-top box will support Iomega Corp.'s Zip drive and facilitate the movement of content from television to the PC. The WebSurfer Pro device will be compatible with external parallel port Zip drives; however, future iterations of the box will ship with built-in Zip drives, officials said.

"The rise of set-top boxes in the home is driven by the basic fact that many consumers want easy access to e-mail and Web content without having to purchase a PC," said Paul Batra, president of WebSurfer, in a statement. "Those consumers are now asking for a place to save, organize and share all of the interesting and entertaining content they are finding on the Web," he said.

The WebSurfer Pro is scheduled to be available later this year. It will ship with a built-in printer port, telephone handset and infrared keyboard and mouse.
