Greetings. I am nearsighted and have been following the development of PRK for years. Also, I have been interested in investing in VISX for a couple months now. I visited a web site that might be of interest to you all. Maybe you have visited it already, but here is is anyway (http://www.prk.com). At the bottom of the site is a link "For Medical Professionals Only". In the "Laser Manufacturers" section, you will find some interesting descriptions of the various lasers used for PRK. Lasers by VISX, BEAM, and ATCI (and others) are described. The information is technical. I hope it is useful for you. Good luck to all.
