Cabec Energy Corp. Announces That Plastic
Pallet Production Inc., a Subsidiary of Cabec, Has Received a
Substantial Cash Down Payment
DALLAS, Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- On November 3, 1998 Plastic Pallet Production Inc. received a substantial cash payment towards the contract announced in an October 27, 1998 press release.
PPP has set pre-production runs of pallets for the first week of December. Starting in December, PPP will manufacture 11,000 40 x 48 Plastic Block Pallets per month with full production of 100,000 pallets per month starting at the end of March. The pre-production runs will be used to supply several small companies and to give customers pallets for evaluation.
PPP has confirmed a meeting with Vimonta representative Dr. C. Odemann in Dallas for the second week of November. PPP and Vimonta are preparing an aggressive promotion of PPP's developed high-pressure injection molding system to Plastic Manufacturers in Europe.
PPP completed shooting 2 TV commercials yesterday. These commercials will run first on several Dallas cable networks, CNN Larry King Live, and others. It is planned to extend the TV campaign to Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles areas at the beginning of next year. With these spots PPP will create awareness of environmental issues and promote the company's image. For this purpose PPP has contracted Sofia Joelsson (Miss Sweden, Miss World) 1997 as Spokesperson for PPP.
