sam, On days like today, there's no manipulation whatsoever, simply more sellers than buyers. The only time the MM's jerk the stock is on the real heavy buy days, then they tend to jerk people on the spread. You could place a market order right now to buy/sell 1000 shares and you would get filled right at the stated price. I have no idea what Don is talking about, and neither does he. John
