I'm sorry Ron. I'm not reco'ing you do anything.

However, on shorting or buying puts. You get considerably more bang if you can identify a problem before analysts, i.e. slowing economy and sales particularly vulnerable to such a slowing. Once something is downgraded officially, much of the downside has already been missed. BBY has had very rapid growth in stores and earnings and the stock price itself. It is the kind of stock that I like to take a look at to see if there are any potential chinks in the armor, especially since it is so popular and we are now in the prime season for retailers.

I would not short it now from a fundamental basis, but after Christmas I might short or buy puts again. First time was a bit of luck and noticing the lack of much of a response to the "good" earnings announcement. I put "good" in quotes, not because I'm suspicious, but because it wasn't received that well by the street -- they expected even more.

Hope that's a little more clear.
