IMO, Whispernumbers.com is a joke.... they do not answer e-mail messages nor do they list anywhere on their site their methodology (just some lame disclaimer about how whisper numbers can not be truly defined....if so, do they just make these numbers up?)..
In early October, they published a whisper number for Dell of .32...This is ridiculous....anyone who has any familiarity with their Dell's past growth history, unit sales, etc....would not publish such crap.. It is obviously an inflated number, published to serve some purpose.....In early October, no one could have possibly been whispering Dell's number...the quarter wasn't even half complete! I believe Cisco's was also posted about a month...sorry, but that's too early to be reasonable...IMO, they guys/girls just publish whatever falls in their head...also there website design is pretty weak...notice, NO ADS (last time I checked) from any major brokerages, banks, or large companies..Hmmm, I wonder why....Could credibility be a problem here?
So, in conclusion, I wouldnt pay attention to them if I were you... |
