Adam, plenty of folks know what to do with a good machine ... look at any of ID magazine's annual awards in recent years for best international designs in the fields of Graphics, Environments, Interactive Media, Equipment, Consumer Products, Furniture and Packaging. They usually indicate the hardware and software that the winning designs were produced on. This year's score is: PC platform-7 awarded projects SGI-8 various specialized platforms like SPARC and CATIA-8 Mac (including a couple of projects done on the IIfx)-69 The count is approximate-a few of the submittals were produced on mixed platforms. This suggests a strong niche market to address consisting of leading talent throughout the international design community. jw
