No, just heard the news on CNBC, pure demand! Tifany reported today that engagement ring sales were up strongly in Japan. I say again, "There are only two factors that matter - supply & demand". I bet soon some "news" will break on more supply from some central bank! Then perhaps anti banker Phil Grahmm will look into this manipulation. rh
