Haven't read the actual report yet but I'm sticking with the story that if the spreads aren't decreased and credit remains tight, then we'll get another 25 bp ease.

The Clue: ..Low interest rates spurred consumer demand for durable goods and housing, and while business demand for loans remained strong, lenders grew more cautious. Two-thirds of Fed districts reported tightening credit standards.

Fed seems to be more worried about economic slowdown due to decreased access to funds rather than to strong economic data. Also, manufacturing only accounts for 19% of output and 15% of employment per James Padhina.

Perspective - we really will have a problem if businesses can't get access to expansion funds. JMHO.
