Suffice it to say that it is Bill Clinton, and Bill Clinton alone who has trashed the office and the resultant mess will no doubt hinder potential good candidates like Texas Bush from running. What I'm really talking about is the "politics of personal destruction" which Bill Clinton has just about single handedly "raised" to a fine art with his devil dogs like Carville and Begala. Not many decent people will be willing to put up with that kind of s***, and I wouldn't blame them. Clinton's no doubt had an apt pupil in Al Gore, they know how trashing opponents has worked in the past so I fully expect more of the same from their ilk. We've already had a dem on this thread insinuating that Texas Bush was a recovering alcoholic because he admitted to "partying" too much when he was young. I just hope we still have a few good people left out there willing to run the attack gauntlet. bp
