All joking aside, the FDA, EPA, and other agencies DO regulate certain things in the food industry we might take for granted. Did you know that the ice maker in your freezer, for example, must meet FDA regulations about what materials are used? The FDA involved with ice makers?? Yes, as well as others. Any materials used in the production or handling of food must meet certain toxicity standards. I'm not saying the FDA must approve the antimicrobial soap, but maybe it does require FDA,UL, etc... listing? And if it is used in the performance of the employees, then it most likely will require some agency approval. It could be toxic for all we know. Which is why some accredited agency must lend approval. Do you think restaurants will buy it without some sort of "approved" approval?? Most detergents/soaps are at least UL approved. What standards has this soap been applied towards? Which is why I am concerned about the recent PR. It is vague, like the reverse split unannounced.
