Dear garrick: That argument doesn't wash with the facts. Consider the fact that MSFT owns and has owned the PC platform market (80-90%) for a long time yet the OS price keeps going down or more features are added or both. By extrapolation the browser market could expect the same progressive response from MSFT. Additionally one has to consider that MSFT shares the browser market 50/50 with NSCP so where is the dominance. All NSCP has to do is keep coming with a better deal. The money is made on the server side. Why? Because it is on the server side that the users of the software make money. Since it doesn't take a lot of documentation to use a browser it never would have been an item that would have made anybody any money. The folks at home would have just passed the client around to their friends.
