Cisco's earnings were powered by sales of $2.59 billion, up 38 percent from 1997 first-quarter sales of $1.87 billion But..... Cisco Systems (CSCO) 65 9/16 +2 3/16: networking equipment maker reports Q1 pro forma net of $0.34 a share, a penny above the First Call mean, vs yr-ago earnings of $0.26; revenue rose 27.7% to $2.59 bln.... Who be right?
