When we look upon history, we must view it within the context of the
social, political, etc... dynamics of the time. Indeed, this can be
a daunting task. Often history is rewritten in support of current
social influences.
Even men whom we regard as major contributors in their time are
more mythical then real. Augustine, Aquinas, and Einstein are such examples. Indeed, few men in history stand alone. Few men can lay claim to such contributions as to have caused the evolutionary leaps in man and civilization. Even, today, we are still learning from such men. Aristotle, DaVinci, and Galt.
