steve,

great post about listed stocks. i am still hungry to learn more however. you are the first person i have met who is willing to talk about daytrading the listed exchanges. please elaborate on autofills. sometimes on DOT i am getting price improvement on what appears to be an autofill. suprisingly, this often occurs when the market is fast. i am not sure what is going on but on occasion i get immediate fills even when i am between the spread and the fills have often been excellent (whenever i get a quick fill on the nasdaq it is always to my detriment). does the specialists electronic book autocross like an ecn or is some clerk making a mistake in a frenzied market by giving me a better price than i am asking for? i am not complaining about good fills i just want to know whats happening. also I wanted to know if AMEX works the same way. thanks as always.

bazooka

ps.. still interested in your personal opinion of what provides the best risk/reward for dt (whats your opinion on the NAS vs. NYSE)
