RE: ktel's net sales
over on the yahoo thread, where the battle between investors and daytraders rages on, a few people on the thread used to track ktel's customer base by signing up for accounts on the website. The site gave you an account # which corresponded to the number of customers they had. They stopped this practice a while back, so there has been no way to tell recently, but if I remember correctly, I don't they were above 50,000 customers last time it was able to be checked (some time around the end of last quarter)... so as you can imagine, I don't think their Internet sales coulda been that good.
Louis, I am surprised to hear that you are short. While I agree 100% with your assessment of the company, the float is still thin, and still heavily shorted, which makes it dangerous, at any price level... When there are this many daytraders around, anything can happen, they couldn't care less about the company or the value of the stock, as long as it trades and is volatile....
