Hi Guys, I'm back! For the last several weeks, I have been absent from the thread, as I have been observing a moratorium on posting as requested by my employer. My firm has been preparing for and undergoing an SEC audit, so the management got pretty paranoid about everything for a while (as is perhaps only natural), including posts to discussion groups. I guess it is really hard to tell with things as they are just what might end up subjecting one to some sort of legal trouble or liability. (I think someone else on this thread, maybe Gregg, went through something similar a while back, if I recall correctly.) Anyways, the upshot is that our firm's compliance consultant advised that it would be unwise to have anyone posting opinions about stocks that are in our clients' portfolios, which Qualcomm is. I'm afraid that this is going to reduce my ability to participate in this thread to some degree, though I will still try to contribute.
Anyway, I guess I am free to post off-topic as much as I like! :-)
So, here's something really OT; if anybody is interested, I will be appearing as a contestant on the game show Win Ben Stein's Money tonight on the Comedy Central cable channel, at 7:30 and 11:30 PM (PST, don't know about other parts of the country). Tune in and catch my half hour of fame!
