I don't think the P166 is a problem, but the 32 megs is a bit thin. Of course its a bit thin for Win95 too, in my view. (I not infrequently have about 8 Web windows open, and four or five other ones as well.)

My main home & travel computer is a Micron 233 laptop with a 13.3 screen, usually used on a port replicator with a 20" screen and outboard keyboard, intellimouse, Scsi connections to additional CD-Rom's and disk drives in addition to the built in 32speed CD and 6 gigs. I plan on upgrading that hardward, which I go almost a year ago except for some of the Scsi outboard stuff, in about five years. <gg> OK, maybe three. Anyway, I'm mega happy with it. Network connections as well. Easily upgradable to cable modems (through the network connection) when Time-Warner finally decides their Roadrunner experiment in various places is ready for Manhattan prime time.

In laptop mode its the first laptop that I've ever been really happy with. I wouldn't even want a bigger screen (it runs at 1072x758 beautifully). The only thing wrong with it is 8 lbs, but hey, I always put it in my briefcase hung off one of those pilot style rolling carryon cases, so big deal.

Michelle, as a computer software consultant/guru/programmer, I'm shocked by your whimpy home system. <gg>

Doug
