Aside from rumours about drill core, there was good news on
base metals today. Hong Kong and Japan both had very good days.
Japan may have convinced people that they really are going to
deal with their currency/banking crises. If both HK and Japan
manage to hold onto their gains, we may see manufacturing come
back and with it, a price rise for oversold base metals.

Gold also did extremely well today. At least one house is looking
for 340 an ounce within the next few months. If so, then a lot
of liquidity could come back into the market and there may be
the possibility of raising financing for well placed juniors.

Now, if DML/NAI just have some good news about their drilling
programs. Since I haven't been following this play and have
made my first buy of these two stocks today, would someone be
good enough to give their thoughts on the day's trading. I checked
the day chart on Stockwatch. There was a big run up by midday (West
Coast Time)on both stocks with DML moving to 49 on very aggressive
buying (the offers were being taken out), then the stock fell
back to 40 which I thought was a pretty big retracement. Do you
think this was because news was expected and when it didn't
appear in an NR the traders unloaded? NAI followed the pattern
but didn't drop quite as much--although, if the charts were overlain, they probably followed the same pattern.
