I called the company today and had the good fortune to speak with the CEO Ken Owens for a few minutes. He wasn't sure why the stock moved so much yesterday. I think we have a very good company here that will have every opportunity to grow earnings in upcoming quarters. Ken seemed like the kind of conservative and responsible leader you would like to have in control of such a company. The business may not be sexy but it will make plenty of money. I think the sand and gravel business could do real well in the future as Houston is booming: jimmyfranklin.com Actually I think all areas of GTII's business should be growing in the upcoming quarters.
