TokyoMex wrote Now I hear Warburg Dillon putting out strong buy on ,,, ARTS and ATVI ,,, soon ,,
I think you have a typo ERTS instead of ARTS? Congrats on your appearance in the Journal, and your outstanding record as a trader. My notes on ATVI follow. (fyi I do not have shares of atvi right now, after the MPRS debacle I have been loath to trade any of the gaming stocks...however atvi looks interesting, especially with their deal with LucasArts and the upcoming new Star Wars trilogy etc)
Here is the latest tally for ATVI from PC Gamer ...from the reviews index, the ones they chose for editors' choices are starred. I left off the score--anybody who sees this message can just go out and buy the mag for that.
*Battlezone Heavy Gear NetStorm Nightmare Creatures *Quake II *Zork Grand Inquisitor
Also in the December issue is a top 40 game list, sort of a holiday shopping list, in which Battlezone and Zork are again listed.
The first advert in the mag is a foldout from the cover, and is for Heavy Gear II. The other advertisements are for HG2, Heretic II, Civ Call to Power, I-82, Fighter Squadron, and Asteriods.
I'm looking forward to seeing a review of Fighter Squadron, especially seeing as how Microsoft is making a foray into the genre with their Combat FS--WWII Europe.
off topic Incidently, the PC Gamer CD comes with EA's Need for Speed III, I've only played a little bit of racing sim on my brother's Playstation, and boy, was I happy with the visuals on my PII-266 with an 8meg I740 card, very pleasantly surprised. So what games am I playing you might ask...well, multiplayer WarCraft against a buddy of mine has been supplanted with C&C Red Alert, StarCraft was abandoned halfway into the zerg episode. Back to the mag...
The holiday preview section includes Civilization Call to Power, and of course HG2. Sin is also on the list, with atvi as the publisher, the developer Ritual. Plenty of coverage for atvi for sure.
Well, anybody with the patience to read through all of that deserves a hot tip. Well maybe not such a big secret after somebody finally started buying some today, sibi and btrn both did well today...and yes, I own shares. I'm more of a position trader/investor with these microcap biotechs...but I guess you could argue that an investment is just a trade gone bad, heh heh.
