Bill,

I don't think news was expected today. Clearly, rumours of another hit on NAI property exist. NAI has said that cores have been sent to the lab for assays and that this could take a week or two before we know just what they've hit. Furthermore, it's been confirmed that the drill rig that was to be moved onto MGJ property has remained on NAI land. It's certainly plausible, as Terence and others have suggested, that the brokerage houses are using this information (for lack of a better term) to "play" these stocks. On one hand, I sense that everyone's a bit more cautious this time around and are not going to reject quick profits. On the other hand, it's quite unsettling to see certain houses ruthlessly "dump" positions (ie. Dominick yesterday and today) even at these (relatively) lower levels.

So pick a theory or make up your own. One thing's for certain - these companies are not in the habit of providing updates and will only release good results. I guess it's safe to say that there will be volatility in these stocks until the season ends. At this point, every rumour is a theory and every theory is a rumour. Good luck to all.
