A Word to the Wise FWIW......

I've been in/out FORE for the last 3+ years and I just read the last 100 or so posts --- It's funny how some things seem to never change:

ATM is always being touted as the hot technology of tomorrow;
FORE is always receiving awards for having the best ATM technology;
FORE always has hot new products in the pipeline;
FORE is always supposedly on the verge of being bought out;
FORE is always in the process of digesting a recent acquisition, price cuts or new product transitions;
FORE was ~$16 and is ~$16!!!

That's right folks, 3+ years ago I bought my first shares of FORE at $16 (split adjusted).

So folks, the moral of the story is don't expect to get rich by buying and holding FORE. Trade it if you must, but hold it long-term? No way!

I looked at FORE's chart tonight and here's what I saw.

FORE's most recent reversal coincided with that of the general market, approximately 4 weeks ago. However, whereas the general market has had a steady uptrend since then, FORE reached significant resistance approximately 8 trading sessions ago. Since then its price has moved sideways while its volume has tailed off --- as a seemingly infinite supply of overhead resistance in the 17 price range has been more than sufficient to meet/exceed dwindling demand.

Given how far and how fast the overall market has rebounded it is likely it too will run out of steam shortly. And when it does, FORE is likely to topple once more as those sitting on their recent large gains sell. I'm not saying FORE will go back to 10 but it could easily lose half its recent gain and fall to $13 where it will languish till the end of the Quarter when rumors will begin surfacing that FORE's enjoyed a solid Q and the whole cycle will begin anew. Been there done that. Like I said, money can be made off FORE with astute trading but be prepared to be disappointed if your style is to hold and wait and wait and wait.....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.............ed
