Interesting how John Glenn trained so hard to
be fit enough to be a successful astronaut.
I remember reading about his training regime, and
he really trained hard physically (both aerobic
and anaerobic training). One sometimes under-
estimates the physical requirements for being
a top-flight astronaut. When our family moved
back to the town where my father grew up, my
father (class re-union President) was pictured
in the local newspaper with Richard McDivott.
