Troy, You're right, SparQ's primary feature was the sell price. SyQuest failed because management overestimated the market. As a result, they were unable to achieve the volume manufacturing cost reductions that were needed to turn positive margins on the product line.

It will be interesting to see how Castlewood does with its Orb (assuming it actually does show up at retail). Their story is even more interesting given the drive has a great price, excellent specs, MR technology and twice the capacity of the SparQ. How are they going to do it?
