I don't think IOM would be interested in Syquest and its technology. After all why would anybody buy a competing product which just had its life cycle choked by bankruptcy? Also its product line is very similar to Iomega so why bother?

The Syquest insolvency has only helped IOM immensely during the upcoming 4th quarter. Hardly any competition now on the Christmas shelves.

However, be wary of IOM's price if there is annoucements of a buyout or White Knight..

Me thinks the Fat Lady will sing shortly.
