The local broker on NBR described it as a merger, but no mention of the effect it will have on REN stock was made. Laidlaw went up more than REN yesterday. After I thought about it, it almost seems like a marriage where Rollins is paying a dowry. Maybe they'll swap REN for Laidlaw stock or just pay off REN shareholders. If REN disappears from the 4th floor Leasing will have more room!
