One more thought on this, that I have wrestled with for years.
An unbaptised newborn baby, or a person born with limited mental capacity, neither capable of understanding and accepting Jesus.
Are they going to Hell because they cannot? When I was in Catholic Bible study, they told me this was the case. My stomach turned.
Or were they born in PERFECT Grace? They don't know sin. Sometime after we are born, we ADD sin to what was already perfected in the way of Christ.
The sin we add, we later have to undo, to uncover our original perfection, and be reborn.
Just something that caused me to ask a lot of questions. If you have found a different answer, I'd love to hear it, but I'd prefer to hear what your spirit says, and not a quoted scripture. I say this because when you quote scripture, I see what I wish to see. When you tell me what you see, then I might understand more clearly.
