Don't get me wrong, I'm not so unemotionally attached that I don't appreciate the recent rally. However, under my method for investing, I have to admit that there hasn't been a drastic change in the story. 3dfx management has been talking about OEM wins for months and that was what the banshee was targeted at. The wins are just a sign that they're executing their strategy and their strategy was one of the main reasons I invested in the first place.

I am quite willing to hold this stock well into 1999 to allow them a chance to execute. The only way I can do that is to distance myself from the day-to-day movements. I've considered not getting involved in SI-type chat areas, but I've been hooked on on-line postings since I was running a BBS when I was 18 (and using them since I was 15).
