*AV* - really have read the original message associated with this post since I am in a rush to get some information out to the populous. Time constraints in getting this newsletter to everyone caused me to leave out a few things.
#1. The newsletter can never really be real time. By thst I mean, some of the stocks I mentioned in today's newsletter as being attractive and to watch, I took positions in prior to the close of the market yesterday. I need to figure out a way to get that info out so that it does not require getting in on the following day's open. My problem is "front running". Either I do my thing and then talk about it or I just don't talk about it. It is an interesting dilemma. This is not always the case but yesterday was different. VECO was sold at a nice profit and both MIPS, PLAB and ATMI were purchased.
#2. IOM (Heaven forbid), a stock you all know my inclination on, is starting to really interest me. I took a position already, especially on the assumption that SYQT will probably be no more<GGG>. Way back when, really way back when, I said the IOM would have the Zip and Jazz drives OEM'd into PCs and that they had a great strategy. With the advent of DVD, there is an alternative. However, I still feel confident that IOM is the place to be. The new CEO may actually have a great deal on the ball. And finally, I visited their Longmont CO facility and I was impressed with some of the Engineering.
#3. NTAP will supply products to DELL for the market. (whoops, that might have been included).
