OK new problem. When I try to run a Metastock Explorer scan on the QP virtual files for the indices (which I have in a directory separate from non-index charts), my computer locks up and refuses to go any further. When I reboot and try to view one of these index charts in Metastock (in virtual), it also locks up. Had this problem the other day, thought I had a corrupt smart chart within that directory, so I deleted the whole directory and started over. I was able to view these charts in Metastock, until I tried to run the scan on them. Same outcome. Locked up computer while scanning, locked up computer while trying to view. Before the other day, I had been able to run this same exact scan with no problem whatsoever.

Any thoughts?
Thanks, Deb
