RE: The Halloween Document to understand how to compete against OSS, we must target a process rather than a company despite the heavy-handed OSS comments, this document provides some interesting insights about MS attitude and culture. Should MSFT try to develop a culture that is a 'mini-OSS' environment within the company? Where does the OSS model work better than the MS development model? A good example of the lack of NIH within MSFT, and how they try to find how to take advantage of anything that works, from anywhere.
