re: Gov. elect Jesse (The Body) Ventura
along the same lines, I noted the U.S. Congressional returns from the greater US yesterday. I noted that in Washington state(I think) a person running for green party got around 10% of the vote. I also saw around eight people that ran from Texas as Libertarians, they got between 1 and 18% of the vote from their districts. There are a growing number of people not from the "same old two parties" getting a big part of the vote.
This direction swing is something all of Government will note! Many will try to down play it or dismiss it out of hand, but things are changing.
No matter if Americans are from the environmental edge of the political spectrum, the militia edge, or the Libertarians (from my view a mix of Left and Right), the message is clear and President Clinton was smart enough to have seen it - It won't be "business as usual" in Washington, or the U.S.
The people are speaking - but what are they saying? Washington does not know, but they are concerned!
