CEO of Sappi (SPP:NYSE) talks about paper industry.

SPP is an International paper producer based in South Africa with capacity
in US and Europe too. Company's ADR's debut on the NYSE today. Here
are just a few of the comments from the interview on CNBC.
................................................................

Demand for coated free sheet expected to continue to grow at about 4%.
No demand weakening seen yet in US or Europe.

Increased demand being met by imports from weaker market producers.

Pricing still steady, but seen flat to weaker in 1999.

On a positive note, there is no new capacity coming on line in North
America so once demand picks up in weak economies, pricing should
improve quickly until capacity can be built.

Just a few thoughts.
