I had a chance to listen to the conference call replay. Again, it was very positive and informative, same as the previous quarter! The number for the replay is 800-475-6701, Access # 412440.
Key topics being reviewed (all very positive I thought) included cross-selling, strategic acquisitions, web-oriented product development, revenue shift to service (higher margins) from product-software.
Several analysts questions kept digging at "Are you experiencing any slowdowns, Are customer's changing their buying habits, Are budgets more restricted, Is the industry slowing down?"
Jim and his team CLEARLY kept repeating that they are comfortable with expectations (including +20% internal growth outside of their acquisitions), that they are NOT seeing a slowdown, they Aztec is insulated due to their IT diversity, etc.
In fact, they also talked about senior management currently buying the stock. Jim bought 40,000 shares recently and other members were buying as well, details to follow they said. This kind of insider buying is a great sign.
Still, during the conference call, the stock fell back to the $6 range rather than moving into the $7. Confusing. Let's see what the research report updates look like during the next couple of days. With AZTEC beating expectations (AGAIN!) I would expect now is the time to for the stock to start making some sort of move-- they certainly have earned it! |
